Triton Packaging Designs
About this Project
Triton Packaging Designs created for Watts Water Technologies. Box Design created in collaboration with D. Patel.

Overview
A packaging template was needed for a new line of piping products to complement the marketing material. With a tagline of “Join the Future”, the goal was to create a futuristic and approachable design.

Process
Since we started with existing marketing collateral, we wanted to ensure the packaging design was consistent. The main focus was to create a design that branded the new product line but remained true to the parent company’s brand. The initial top bar design on all the packaging was inspired by the marketing collateral and overall Watts Water brand.  Curved edges were used to convey a futuristic look along with the slightly blue gradient background. Since the designs accommodate three languages (English, French, and Spanish), spacing and typography were key to ensure each package was easy to read and understand.

About this Project
Concept design created for Watts Water Technologies to gain new business at a major plumbing retailer.

Overview
Watts Water had the opportunity to pitch a line of products to a major plumbing retailer. We were tasked with creating innovative designs similar to the current line of products already on the shelves that showed the products complement each other.

Process
We previously won the business to add plumbing connectors into the stores a few months prior, so we decided to use that design as a starting point. The goal was to show the connection between the connectors and the valves to encourage an add-on sale when the consumer visited the store and continue with a consistent brand image. We utilized the same color-coding for the sizes previously used on the connector packaging to assist in the buying experience. We continued the color-coding system to highlight the different types of valves, without distracting from the overall design.
